What is Thai Select

Still, through training and inspections, high standard Thai Restaurants worldwide have achieved this distinction.

Objective
• To recognize an endorse quality Thai restaurants.
• To increase the recognition of quality Thai restaurants.
• To encourage Thai restaurateurs to raise their quality standards so that they are at an international level.

Categories of Thai restaurants
• Traditional Thai Cuisine : Restaurants offering Thai cuisine with traditional recipe and maintaining traditional Thai style.
• Modern Thai Cuisine : Restaurants offering Modern Thai cuisine incorporating foods of different countries such as Spaghetti served with Thai green curry sauce, or restaurants that do not serve food and have interior decoration that would be considered traditionally Thai style.
• Special Thai Cuisine : Restaurants offering specialty Thai Cuisine.
• Chain restaurants with menus developed with cooperation from Thai government ( Honorable Thai Select ) and offering only Thai cuisine.

Method for apply Thai Select Certification in oversea

1. Download Application form on website http://www.thaikitchen.org/Upload_by_DEP/application_ThaiSelect_Eng.pdf Please complete the following form and state details clearly.

2. If you can’t read, You can download Adobe Reader program from http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.1/enu/AdbeRdr810_en_US.exe

3. Please send application form to Thaitrade Center follow your country by e-mail or fax (send about application form only). Then the officer will request other document later.

I am Thai's Chef, how to go to work abroad?




First, you must have VISA of their country which you want to go to work.



Second, you must have experience at least 1 year (generally 3-5 years).



Third, you should register at The Center for Thai Kitchen of the World (CTKW)
